This was taken in the early morning of December 5th. I had completely given up all hope that I would be able to capture it due to the grim forecast but, one night I let my dog out for the final time before bed and all I could see was stars! I stayed up until 3, still clear, so I set up my gear. I entered the comet in to the ASIAIR and the scope started slewing and plate solving. Seeing the first test exposure made me feel like a kid on Christmas.
