This picture of star clouds and dark nebulae in Scutum was taken on June 20, 2014 in Summerland. The dark nebulae include the bottom part of Barnard 110 plus 107 and 106. The open cluster at bottom center is NGC 6704 and the bright star to the right is Beta Scuti.
A Borg 101ED apo operating at f6.3 was used with a Canon XSI DSLR at ISO 800 for ten exposures of 10 min. They were combined with 10 dark frames and processed in ImagesPlus.
