It's a match!
This takes a little explanation. The jagged black line represents exaggerated mountains and valleys on the north limb of the moon. The orange line marks where the bright star Aldebaran was blocked and revealed as the moon grazingly passed in front of it on March 4, 2017. At top (below the caption) is a timeline of my observations at Osoyoos. Each tiny square represents one second. White squares indicate Aldebaran was visible; dark squares where it was blocked; intermediate grey squares indicate the star was fading (in or out). Compare the timeline with the orange line -- not a bad match.
