On this evening, the comet developed an impressive tail extending far beyond this frame at an estimated 5.1 million kms long. It started passing through Lacerta and the bright orange star in the frame is 1 Lacertae, very reminiscent of a shot I took last February of the conjunction of Comet ZTF and Mars.
