Comet Garradd
An easy find in binoculars. Bright nucleus and coma with dim wide tail fanning out to the south. Sketch done Aug 2, 2011 using the Okanagan Observatory 25" reflector at 186x. When first observed the comet was the exclamation point at the end of the small string of stars and within about 40 minutes had moved to the position in the sketch.
