Sadr area of Cygnus 78 min with equal darks
This image was taken with a simple, non-modded Canon 70D through the 80 mm Equinox refractor without any filters. You always learn something from imaging an object and here, the nebulosity is hard to bring out without filtered exposures and/or a modded camera. But certainly after the 78 minutes of stacked exposures, you are beginning to see the dark channels on either side of Sadr with plenty hydrogen gas nebulosity from an ancient supernova explosion.
