This view to the west shows the 10' x 11' enclosed area. The roof is not opened in this shot. The desk is complemented by a bookshelf to the lower left behind the scope. The space would be quite adequate in size even with the big pier mounted JMI NGT 18 scope, but things tend to get cluttered with other equipment including imaging telescopes, guiders etc.
