IC 2177, the Seagull Nebula
This bright emission nebula is located on the border of Monoceros and Canis Major, very close the star Sirius.
This is not visible from my yard so I travelled to be able to capture it, the battery pack I used to power everything died after an hour so I didn't expect it to turn out as well as it did. I'm going to have to upgrade my mobile power for some longer sessions and revisit this part of the sky next year.
