The sky was absolutely stunning for two consecutive nights outside of Prince George. I went to the public night at the RASC Prince George observatory and spent more time staring up at the sky than looking through the scopes. The following night I went to this lake to try out a new to me lens, its very close to the observatory and I keep going back to this place because its the perfect place to practice with camera settings and compositions, learned a little more each time I've been there.
