I gave up hours of sleep in the middle of the night on three consecutive occasions for views like this one, which evokes my first dark-sky visual impression. Comet NEOWISE, seen straight up from Wood Lake with the stars of Auriga and Perseus above and to the right. The Pleiades are faintly visible on the eastern horizon.
Panasonic FZ-300, camera on tripod, 5 sec at f2.8, ISO 800. Focal length (35mm equiv) is 25mm. Gamma slightly tweaked.
