In this cropped single exposure, the star cluster at upper left (Melotte 179, aka the Summer Beehive) is a little less than 10 degrees from the comet's head. The bright star below the cluster is 2.75 mag. Beta Ophiuchi, aka Cebalrai. Canon 6D, 50mm lens at f3.2, 3 sec at ISO 10000. Gamma slightly reduced.
