This is a montage of images taken from 9.14am to 11.41am on August 21, 2017 from Sky Trails Observatory in Summerland using a Borg 101ED apo in f4.3 astrograph mode.
The exposures were 1/1,250 sec. at ISO 400 with a modified Canon XSi DSLR.
Dramatic event even though not a total eclipse.
Interesting to see the juxtaposition between the encroaching Moon and 'stationary' Sun evolve as they interacted.
Nice little sunspot groups tracking the action.
