This picture which includes the 2021 Cassiopeia nova as well as the open cluster Messier 52 and the Bubble Nebula NGC 7635 was captured on April 5/21. Six 5 minute exposures were taken with a modified Canon XSi DSLR operating at ISO 1600 through an 8” f4.5 Quattro Newtonian astrograph in Summerland. The sub images were combined with dark images in ImagesPlus. The location of the nova is shown in the previous picture in the gallery. The name was suggested by Kathleen Fleming.
