Sharpless 2-101 (#45)

This is an image of the nebulosity Sh2-101 which is located half way down the neck of Cygnus the swan. The bright star is eta Cygni, which is located between Sadr, the central star, and Albireo at the head.
Ten, 10 minute exposures at ISO 1600 were taken with a Canon XSi DSLR through a Borg 101 astrograph on August 12, 2013 at Sky Trails Observatory in Summerland, and they were combined and processed with ImagesPlus.
