This image of IC 405 (The Flaming Star nebula) and IC 410 in Auriga was taken in Summerland on the cool (-5 C.) evening of November 16, 2014. A Borg 101ED apo in f4.2 astrograph mode was used for capturing 14 ten minute sub images through an IDAS V3 filter with a modified Canon XSi camera operating at ISO 1600.
