Double Cluster in Perseus (#68)
The double cluster in Perseus is visible to the naked eye as a fuzzy patch between Cassiopeia and Perseus. Though the pair are only a few hundreds of light years apart, they are about 7,500 ly distant from us.
The picture was taken on Sept. 27, 2016 from Summerland using ten 5 minute exposures at ISO 1600 through a Borg 101E astrograph processed in ImagesPlus.
