Brocchi's Cluster (#66)

Brocchi's Cluster (#66)

Also familiar as 'The Coathanger' at star parties, Collinder 399 is a random star grouping in Vulpecula. This image was taken with a Borg 101E apo refractor in f4.2 astrograph mode with a Canon XSi DSLR camera at ISO 800. Twelve 5 min. subs were combined in ImagesPlus. The imaging run was on the night August 29, 2016 during variable cloud and clear sky conditions. Note the small open star cluster NGC 6802 to the lower right.
