This picture of Comet PanSTARRS was taken on Sunday, March 24, 2013 just west of Summerland. Four 30 second exposures were combined in ImagesPlus. The pictures were taken with a Canon XSI DSLR at ISO 1600 through a Borg 4" apo operating at f6.3 driven but not guided on an equatorial mount. The exposures were taken between 8.15 and 8.45pm as the comet descended toward the horizon.
