The Dark Shark nebula, starless
The Dark Shark nebula, starless, photographed from an extreme dark sky location in Northern California in September 2025. I used my Celestron C-14 with a Starizona Hyperstar optical reducer, mounted on a CGX-L mount. I used my ZWO 6200MC camera with a Radian Quad band narrow band filter. The session was guided with a Prima Luce guide scope and an ASI Air Plus controller and I captured 87 five minute each exposures for a total of almost seven hours of data.
