The Cave Nebula
The Cave Nebula, captured over numerous nights in June and July of 2025 from my backyard in Kelowna British Columbia. I used my Celestron C-14 telescope with the dedicated Celestron .7 reducer on a CGX-L mount with a ZWO 6200mm camera and Optolong narrow band Ha, OIII, SII and Luminance filters. The sessions were guided by a Lunt 420mm solar scope (minus the solar etalon filter) with a ZWO 290 guide camera. The imaging sessions were controlled with an ASI Air plus controller. I captured 48 Ha frames, 39 OIII frames, 47 SII frames and 20 Luminance frames at 180 seconds, Bin “2”, for a total of just over seven hours of total exposure time. Post processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.
