I live in the county of Cumbria which is the most northern county just below Scotland, I understand the sundog was widely seen in the area and even made the news. I took the photo right from my front door

Cumbria is the location of the Lake District National Park which is visited by people from all over the world which is a problem as the roads are not designed for so many vehicles, I am outside the national park so just have rural traffic, see more tractors than tourists here.
