In 2010 aesthetics also came to the theatre when beautiful murals were painted on the PUP walls by artist Jolene Mackie, daughter of the Observatory Director. This is the back (south) side of the PUP, with the pastoral scene blending it into the surroundings. Very possibly deer posed for Jolene since they are often seen on the grounds.
