Alnitak and Vicinity
The area around Alnitak, the easternmost star of Orion's belt is a busy place. To the upper left is the flame nebula, and just below is the Horsehead Nebula. This image was made by combining eight 3 minute exposures through a guided 101ED Borg apo, taken with a Canon D5 DSLR on February 18, 2007 and processed in ImagesPlus.
