Messier 13 The Hercules Cluster
This image of the Hercules globular cluster M13 was taken on June 5, 2011, the first use of an Orion 8" Ritchie-Chretien astrograph on a new mounting. Six 5 min. exposures at ISO 800 through a modified Canon XSi were processed with ImagesPlus. The frame was cropped horizontally to centre the cluster.
