Christmas Tree and Cone Nebula
This picture of the Christmas Tree Cluster NGC 2264 and the Cone Nebula in Monoceros was taken on November 29, 2014 in Summerland. Despite -15 C. conditions, the sky wasn't great and a first quarter Moon was still up. A Borg 101Ed astrograph at f4.2 was used with a modified Canon XSi camera at ISO 1600. Ten 15 minute exposures were taken and processed with dark frames in Images Plus.
