The Butterfly Nebula
This picture of the Butterfly Nebula in Cygnus is a combination of ten 5 minute exposures at ISO 800 which were captured in Summerland on July 15, 2013.
The bright star is Sadr which is the central star of the 'kite' in Cygnus. The guided subs were taken by a modified Canon XSi DSLR camera through a Borg 101mm astrograph, and were processed and combined in ImagesPlus with ten dark frames.
