As our outreach ended at Allan Brooks Nature Centre on Oct 3rd, 2015, Aurora rolled in over the city of Vernon. The aurora seemed to last from 9:30 - midnight. It had been years since I had seen the Northern Lights, so this was a great treat! This image was one of the more active of the ones that I took. This is a 5 second exposure F/3.5 ISO 400 using a Nikon D5200 and stock 18-55mm lens.
