Eclipse Day – May 20, 2012 has arrived. We’ve scouted the area south of Ely, Nevada and decided on “our” observing location, a school yard in Lund, NV elevation approx 5,575 ft. And, only 1,700 k.m. from home. Here Richard C., Jim F. and Alan W. attend to getting their equipment set up. Beautiful clear blue sky (not a cloud in sight), temperature around 29 C, and a very tiny breeze just to keep it nice.
