This sketch of the southern end of the Andromeda galaxy was done in conjunction with the article by Alan Whitman for the November 2013 issue of Sky & Telescope magazine. Here the sketch is reversed to white on black. Companion galaxy M32 is located on the left while the condensation to the lower right end of M31 is NGC 206.
