I noticed this opportunity from my deck way across the valley from Kal Lake and the Aberdeen Plateau on April 7 15 and the next night I was ready with the 80 mm refractor and Pentax K10D DSLR to capture the moment. I processed the 1/8 second ISO 100 image in Photoshop to try to bring out the lighted trees as much as I could.
