Dave Gamble's roll-off roof observatory was an addition to an outbuilding located on a slope. An exterior storage shed was added at lower ground level, and the observatory enclosure was added on the top, level with an upper ground level shop area. This view shows the roll-off roof opened allowing the telescope area a view of the sky. With the roof closed there is an unused 'porch' on the far side. This is now used by an imaging setup with a separate pier pictured and explained in #7.
