The Imp and Friend (#76)
'The Imp', a patch of nebulosity with two piercing 'eyes', is an intriguing object which is often overlooked since it sits between the North American Nebula and the Pelican Nebula in Cygnus.
This image was taken on September 5, 2018 in Summerland using an 8" imaging Newtonian. A modified Canon XSi DSLR at ISO 1600 captured a run of 12 ten minute exposures which were processed with Dark files in ImagesPlus.
