This picture of the Rosette Nebula surrounding the NGC 2244 open star cluster was taken on February 18, 2015 from Summerland with a modified Canon XSi DSLR camera through a Borg 101ED apo operating in f4.2 astrograph mode using an IDAS nebula filter. A total of 15 ten minute exposures at ISO 1600 were processed in ImagesPlus.
