This picture of the Flaming Star nebula in Auriga was taken on January 4, 2014 using an Orion 8" RC Astrograph. Ten 900 sec. sub exposures were taken through a modified Canon XSi DSLR at ISO 1600 using an IDAS V3 nebula filter which were processed with Dark frames in ImagesPlus.
