Comet NEOWise at McIntyre Bluff

Comet NEOWise at McIntyre Bluff

This picture was taken at 1.00am July 14. The comet appears out from McIntyre Bluff about 12.30am and this will get progressively later as the comet tracks west.
The two bright stars just above the trees on the bluff, one is Talitha and its closeby neighbour Kappa Ursa Major. The comet will have tracked there by the 19th and it should make an interesting picture again as it emerges from the bluff.
